I’m excited to share a new partnership between The Pleasure Professor and Bloom Better, a pelvic-floor wellness company founded by Jana Danielson. This collaboration gives my community another way to explore pelvic health as part of comfort, confidence, pleasure, and whole-person intimacy.
Why pelvic-floor wellness belongs in the intimacy conversation
The pelvic floor is a group of muscles and connective tissues at the base of the pelvis. These muscles help support pelvic organs and contribute to bladder and bowel control. Research also suggests that pelvic-floor muscle training may improve some aspects of sexual function. Importantly, pelvic-floor support is relevant to people of different genders and life stages—not only people who have given birth.
That overlap is why this partnership makes sense. My work helps people build the language, confidence, consent skills, and practical tools to talk about intimacy. Bloom Better offers at-home pelvic-floor fitness products and guided programs designed to help people develop greater body awareness and a consistent wellness practice.
Meet Bloom Better and the Cooch Ball
Bloom Better describes the Cooch Ball® as a non-invasive, at-home pelvic-floor fitness tool used with breathing, posture, gentle movement, and short guided routines. Its programs include do-it-yourself starting options as well as more structured six-week experiences.
This is a wellness and education partnership—not a promise that one tool is right for every body or every symptom. Pelvic-floor muscles may be weak, overactive, tense, or poorly coordinated. That distinction matters: more strengthening is not always the answer. The National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases notes that pelvic-floor exercises are not appropriate in every situation and recommends checking with a health professional before beginning.
What you can explore
I’ve created a dedicated resource page to make the options easier to compare without turning the navigation into a maze. You’ll find:
- Cooch Ball do-it-yourself experiences for women and men
- Guided programs focused on intimacy, perimenopause, menopause, men’s pelvic wellness, and prenatal or postpartum stages
- Supporting options such as the Scooch Ball and Terrain Fitness Bundle
- Clear safety guidance, affiliate disclosure, and links to independent health sources

What this partnership does—and does not—replace
The Pleasure Professor provides coaching and sexuality education, not medical diagnosis or treatment. Bloom Better’s products and programs are wellness resources; they do not replace care from a physician, pelvic-floor physical therapist, or other qualified clinician.
Please seek professional guidance before starting a new pelvic-floor practice if you have pelvic pain, difficulty urinating or emptying your bowels, recent pelvic or prostate surgery, an active pelvic infection, pregnancy, osteoporosis or osteopenia, a diagnosed pelvic-floor condition, or new or worsening symptoms. Pain during a practice is a reason to stop and get individualized support.
A more complete view of intimate wellness
Intimacy is not only about desire or technique. It is also shaped by comfort, mobility, sensation, confidence, communication, and the ability to feel present in your body. I’m looking forward to bringing pelvic-floor education into that larger conversation—with curiosity, honesty, and no shame.
